About Me
Jasia Nauthoa, MA, RP.
As a Registered Psychotherapist that values authenticity, my priority is to empower individuals in their journey towards healing and transformation.
My work focuses on helping clients move out of survival mode and into greater emotional stability, clarity, and connection. I use evidence-based approaches that are practical, structured, and tailored to what actually works for each client.
I am EMDR-certified and have completed Gottman Method trainings, allowing me to treat trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges in a way that is both effective and grounded in research. EMDR therapy is a core part of my work, particularly for clients wanting to work through childhood trauma, anxiety, panic, chronic stress, or the lasting impact of difficult life experiences.
I place a strong emphasis on ongoing professional training and staying current with best practices in trauma and anxiety treatment. Therapy with me is collaborative and goal-oriented; we regularly assess what is helping and adjust strategies as needed. My role is not only to support you, but to help you develop tools that lead to meaningful, lasting change.

Get To Know My Therapeutic Approaches
I work from an integrative approach, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities to meet your specific needs. Through my years of practice and continuous education, here are the following approaches I have found my clients have the most success with. I think of therapy like a chef creating a recipe; no two dishes are exactly the same, and the best results come from using the right ingredients in the right proportions.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) integrates somatic approaches by acknowledging how bodily sensations influence emotional healing. This therapy uses bilateral stimulation to help process traumatic memories, promoting both physical and psychological well-being. By exploring the mind-body connection, we help our clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and discover new ways to enhance their overall well-being.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS therapy focuses on tapping into the client's inner parts, allowing for the exploration and resolution of internal conflicts. This approach is particularly effective in addressing and healing from past traumatic experiences.
Acceptance and CommitmentTherapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that encourages individuals to embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting against them, fostering psychological flexibility. Through acceptance and mindfulness strategies, ACT helps clients commit to actions that align with their values, promoting meaningful and purposeful living.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
With SFBT, identifying and amplifying the strengths and resources of clients is prioritized. By doing so, client’s are able to formulate practical solutions to their challenges. This approach empowers individuals and encourages them to take an active role in their own healing process.
